Is it just me or does this sound like an Owen record? This one can't touch the first American Football record in my opinion.

Beautful album. Nothing particularly fancy, just wonderfully done pop/rock music. I particularly enjoy the pace and tone. There is an unhurried feeling that wraps you up like a long car ride in the mountains.
  • Great band, great album!

These guys after 17 years just put out the album of the year IMO. This is real emo not the pop punky bubble gum garbage so many kids today think is emo. I can't speak highly enough of these 9 songs. Obviously it's not the same album as the first put out in 1999, these guys are 17 years older and bring a great maturity in lyrics and styling. Bravo American Football. Keep it up!

American football has always been great and surprised how far they've come as far as tone, lyrics, and groove

After 17 years, they're back with new music. The same emo feel but renewed for a newer generation. My favorite band of all time!

Had to wait 17 years since their first release, I'm getting back to my emo phase though.
